Project Manager | Job Description

With our presence in 27 countries, our mission is to bring liberty to every corner of the world by sharing the philosophy and benefits of freedom, emphasising educating newcomers. We spread liberty and foster a global network of freedom champions, empowering them to become change agents in their own countries.

Responsibilities

  • Overall management of Liberty International World Conference, taking place in August 2023:
    • Coordinating project’s team & managing tasks
    • Running regular team meetings
    • Leading major areas of the project
    • Project execution on the ground
  • Management of Project Arizona, the leadership program of Liberty International, taking place in October-November 2023:
    • Overall coordination with major stakeholders of the project
    • Creating supportive environment (frequent information exchange etc.) for project’s participants
    • Preparing content for website and bi-monthly newsletters
    • Project execution on the ground
  • General managerial support for Liberty International (including other projects)
  • Regular reporting to LI leadership regarding work’s progress
  • Workload: 20-25 hours per week, including 2-5 hours for ZOOM calls

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience of overall management of at least one large conference/seminar or 1 year+ for long-term projects
  • Proven stakeholder management skills and interpersonal  communication
  • Excellent presentation skills and proficiency in drafting communication materials in different formats
  • Full proficiency in English. Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in Spanish as additional advantage
  • Knowledge of the effective use of email and social media platforms
    • Ability to navigate in WordPress as additional advantage
  • Familiarity with the network of pro-liberty groups and individuals
  • Full identification with the mission of Liberty International

Compensation:

  • Monthly: 700 USD
  • One-time: 2000 USD for Project Arizona if the target is reached
  • Covered travel expenses during the projects
