  • Graphic Design:
      • Create visually appealing content for newsletters, emails, and other communication channels.
      • Develop compelling graphics for social media platforms to enhance the organization’s online presence and engagement.
      • Collaborate closely with the team to align social media content with the organization’s messaging strategy.
  • Event Collateral:
      • Design visually engaging materials such as brochures, posters, invitations, schedules, signage, banners, and presentations that convey the organization’s message and brand.
      • Coordinate with external printing vendors, if necessary, to meet specific design requirements on the ground.
  • Data Visualization:
      • To effectively communicate the organization’s achievements and outcomes to stakeholders, produce visual representations of data and impact reports, such as annual reports, year-end letters, and research reports.
  • Collaboration:
      • Work closely with other departments and teams within the organization to understand their design needs and incorporate feedback.
      • Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity for the organization, ensuring all materials align with the established brand guidelines.
  • AI-Generated Short Video:
    • Utilize the AI platform to create short (15-second) videos for social media platforms.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Intermediate knowledge of the following software
      • Digital design software: Figma, Canva
      • Print design software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, COREL or Affinity
    • Understand the relationship between digital and printed graphics, like resolution (72 ppi / 300 dpi), colors (RGB000 / CMYK000100), and bleeds
    • Understand Styles and Libraries (in any software) for a degree of task automation and support brand consistency.
    • Minimum of 1 year of proven experience
  • Ability to work independently with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Highly proficient in G-Suite, WordPress, Canva, and Mailchimp
  • Full proficiency in English with exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of the digital tools, including website and social media platforms, to create/design content

Compensation: Monthly salary of USD 400

Period of engagement: The selected candidate will be initially contracted for three months, from March 1st to May 31st, 2024. The contract may be extended for an additional one-year period based on performance.
