ABOUT THE LIWC 2023

4 DAYS OF OPPORTUNITIES:

On August 16 – 19, 2023 Liberty International will host the 37th edition of the annual Liberty International World Conference in Madrid, Spain. This year’s main theme is “Prosperity and Longevity Through Liberty” and will encompass discussions on the past, present, and future challenges faced by the freedom movement and its evolution over time.

This year’s conference will reunite 200+ attendees and 10+ pro-liberty organizations from all around the world in the heart of Madrid at Ateneo de Madrid. The conference´s agenda will include keynote sessions, panel discussions, debates, film screenings and other entertaining activities. In addition, we will have two days of cultural tours around Madrid!

OUR HOST

José Luis Cordeiro

José Luis Cordeiro is a global citizen born in Caracas, Venezuela, educated in Europe and North America, and has worked in over 130 countries on five continents. He studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and has degrees in Mechanical Engineering, International Economics, Comparative Politics, and a PhD. Mr. Cordeiro has worked as an engineer and advisor for many major oil companies and international consulting companies, specializing in strategy, finance, and restructuring. He has also been an advisor in economics, energy, technology policies, and space exploration. He is a director of the Millennium Project, director of Humanity Plus, fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science, and founding executive director of the Ibero-American Futurists Network RIBER. He is a member of several organizations and has lectured at major institutions globally. He is also an independent consultant, writer, researcher, professor, and “tireless traveler”.In addition to his many accomplishments, José Luis Cordeiro is also set to host the Liberty International World Conference in 2023
