The Global Capitalism Awareness event, hosted annually by Liberty International and orchestrated by LI Representative Rowland Kessy Dappa, is a dynamic initiative aimed at educating and empowering Africa’s Cheetah generation. This year’s event, held at the University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State, Nigeria, from October 5 to 6, marked another successful edition.
The 2023 event welcomed distinguished guests and speakers who shared their insights and expertise. These notable figures included:
Michael Malgeri: The pioneering force behind Kids4Biz and the author of “Johnny Profit.”
Jacek Spendel: The President of Liberty International, a passionate advocate for liberty worldwide.
Marina Brierley: An educationist and UK-based libertarian.
Adam Bartha: The Director at the Institute of Economic Affairs
Over the span of two days, speakers and participants engaged in in-depth discussions and dialogues centered around the theme of the year – “African Conscience of Capitalism.” These conversations aimed to shed light on capitalism’s role in Africa and the importance of economic freedom. The event provided a platform to exchange ideas and viewpoints, enriching the attendees’ understanding of these critical concepts.
